Portable Long Service Leave

The Government’s proposed change would expand the portable long-service leave scheme to the accommodation and food service industry and to hairdressing and beauty services. This means every cafe, pub, club, restaurant and hotel would be forced to register all staff, whether full-time, part-time or casual; and make mandatory payments to the Government.

I am concerned about this new regulation; which could be in place in the very near future. But I want to know what you think. How do you feel about this idea?
